DEATH MATRIX ALIEN This alien inhabited Captain Janeway for a period, making her believe that she had died. In fact, the matrix preys on people at the moment of their death, creating illusions of time-loops and loved family members. Janeway recovered, and lived to tell the tale of her horrible experiences.
