 When
The Doctor and Kes find The Caretaker's remains rattling in it's container,
they are both suprised it came back to life. When Tuvok, Janeway, and Torres
investigate it, Janeway suggests it probably came from the Caretaker's mate.
When Torres puts it in a containment field, it leads to the coordinates
where she is located. When Voyager finds a space station in its way, they
put it on the viewscreen. They are shocked because they see what looks like
The Caretaker's array, but after Ensign Kim reports that the lifesigns are
Ocampan, the station starts firing. But after a few moments, Tanis, a male
Ocampa colonist, agrees to introduce Captain Janeway and her crew to an
entity they call Suspiria, the female mate of The Caretaker. As the Voyager
crew builds great hope of returning home soon, Tanis implores Kes to stay
with her Ocampa people on the alien space station.
 Unknowingly,
the entity invades Engineering. When Janeway arrives, she asks her to
return Voyager to the Alpha Quadrant, but instead, Suspiria retaliates
and tries to destroy the ship. But Kes, who is being attacked by Tanis,
incapacitates Tanis and Suspiria, allowing Janeway to disable the entity's
powers. But when Janeway states she did not kill her mate, she forgoes
destroying the ship, and leaves, leaving Captain Janeway and her crew,
still stranded in the Delta Quadrant.
