Uni has slowed down briefly. Last week I had a seminar, an exam and a huge-assed essay yesterday. So now I’m kinda giving myself a one or two day week until next week when I have another exam, another essay and have to start my ridiculously large-assed psych lab report.
I love Uni. No really, I kinda do… *eggs myself* Meanwhile, I’m listening to ‘Its Raining Men’? When did that happen? I swear, I’m getting gayer. Adam, if you’re reading this, it’s your fault.
…which reminds me, what’s the deal with this? Basically, this is telling us that we should live our day-to-day lives in constant fear of terrorist attacks. =|
Dear America,
No-one is safe. The terrorists are everywhere. Buy lots of things. Don’t question my decisions. Respect my authority. Love God and Jesus, even though Jesus was all about being kind to your neighbours and I’m all about blowing them up. Wait, forget I said that. Adhere to these commandments and you’ll be fine.
Love always,
George
Stan, Adam, Ben, Casey and I went to Brisvegas last night to go to Family - ’twas very cool. Not something I’d like to do every week, but it’s definitely fun. We met quite a few random people - one girl was compelled to tell Casey and I how depressing it was that we were holding hands. “All the cute guys are gay,” or something to that effect. Clearly the room was poorly lit, or she had too much to drink.
I like Family - on Sunday’s it’s Fluffy’s - because it has this pleasant mix of sexualities. Very refreshing. It’s also really well designed. Cute bar staff too..
There was dancing, booze, strangely large shots of Chartruse and expensive glass flasks of water. And then there were Casey’s persistent McDonalds antics all the way home…. which we won’t go into here. The End.
Casey and I saw that movie last night - it was great. I’m all about existentialism right now. Wikipedia it. I especially like Mark Wahlberg - not just because he’s a total meanwhile, but his character is hilarious. He’s an anti-petroleum fire-fighter that refuses to ride in the truck with the other fire-fighters.
Dustin Hoffman and what’s-her-name are also hilarious. I heart slapping myself in the face with the red ball. Brief moments of nothingness where we can be the rock that sits and just is. Flossing could be the key to our entire reality.
Check it-ish..
With the elevation of Ratzinger to Pope, the Roman Catholic church will continue to stagnate and decline. When the vatican realises how out of touch with the world it really is, it will probably be too late. What the church really needs is someone that actually listened to this Jesus dude they all claim to worship. All he was on about was… Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself.. How does half the B.S. institutionalised Christianity come out with adhere to that? I know, I’ve said it before. But seriously, the rest of Catholicism, Chrstianity and indeed most institutionalised religion is flowery crap that was written by really old dudes clamouring for power. If the church cast itself back to its grass roots and listened to the J man, they might have half a chance at surviving the next century.
So may this game in the name of God that we call religion, continue on into the sad, sad dusk.
Whee… last night we went to the PeeAyy and got a bit tipsy. Lis, toe-nail and I went to the beach to continue our trash fest. Lisa is such an alcho now! Yes Lis, you know what I’m talking about. I hope you enjoyed your first ever monorail ride!
I wonder if Toni got home safe. I should probably check that out.
So Cara! I know you’re reading this. In fact, I think you’re the only person that reads this. But anyway, I noticed you didn’t come to Casey’s house on Friday night for a BBQ. And don’t say I didn’t message you, because I just double checked my messages and I did! So yeah. Now we’re even for that time I didn’t come to your house warming party.
That is the title of Ben Lee’s newest album. Checkout the blurb on this inside cover…
This record was nade possible by the Grace, Love and Guidance of Narayani Amma.
Thankyou to Master Nan Lu and everybody at the American Taoist Healing Centre, for teaching me “nothing” - what it is and how to get there.
Much respect to Timothy ‘Speed’ Levitch and Rob Breszny, Tour Guides and Soldiers of Bliss who have helped me make contact with the Divine Secrets of the Universe. Check out the work of both of these Brave Souls - their ideas and energy are all over this album.
I mean, I love Ben Lee, and his music rocks my socks off, but this is a bit loopy. I wish I was as loopy!
