Hello, my name is Guinan and I am the hostess of Ten Forward. Ten Forward is a lounge aboard the USS Enterprise E where crew members gather to share their thoughts and mingle. Any topic is open for discussion (within reason). Each crew member will have a Starfleet rank. If you don't register you will be a Crewman (which is the lowest of rankings), but you will still be able to chat as everyone else. Once you register you will be become an Ensign and will have the opportunity to become promoted to higher rankings. The highest rank a crew member may be promoted to is Vice-Admiral. In order to be promoted you must earn the respect of two officers of rankings higher than Captain. When you have reached the rank of Captain, you will be able to use javascript and html tags. There are also a few people who have been given special ranks. These are only given to people who have contributed to the creation, well-being, and integrity of this chat.
