"Friends of Outpost 10F"

The Hampster talking to Katrina. After searching the airport for three hours we learn
that her flight was cancelled. The experience was not in vain however as we
learned how to navigate through the bowels of the Pearson International Airport.
If we ever have a reunion in Toronto again, Jon will be our official airport pickeruper. =)

Hampster & Toddy "enjoy" their dinner at Pizza Hut. So, was that really chicken
in your salad Toddy?

Park and I search the area for our missing crewmembers after returning from a
scouting mission to the bus terminal. Seconds after this photo is taken
we start chasing a "stray car" down the street believing it is Hampster
and the rest...how wrong we were...I'll never forget the look on that girl's face
as I aimed the camera at her...

No Jon, I do not want your leftovers. However, I thank you for your kind offer.

Here we are, finally in Toronto. We came to see the CN Tower but we had some
difficulties convincing Park to join us. His fear of hights was quickly eliminated
after enduring our "hazing process" - halting a comet from striking earth. *eg*

There she is! The tallest structure on the planet. C'mon Park, it ain't that scary!

The view from the CN Tower - A cloud floats peacefully by. Hmmm, we are actually
very high up. The buildings are so tiny. Thank goodness for the floor beneath our feet....

or???? *looks down* Yikes! A glass floor! A very strange feeling indeed standing on it.
Poor Park, we eventually pushed him out onto it.

Walking down the streets of downtown Toronto. Toddy, the farmer, is enjoying her grass.
She needed a souvenier after Park guided us through a field which turned out to be a swamp
in disguise. Thankfully we were able to pull him out before he was sucked into the depths
of Meadowvale.

I don't know what was with those Torontonians, but they had these model moose
all over the city. After some convincing on my part, Jon & Shellie pose with the
great Canadian beast. Hmm, not quite as spectacular as the shiney beaver though...

One of the more "interesting" portions of our visit to Toronto. We were caught in a
cloudburst and got all soaked.

Park and I tried our best to lure Canada's visitors into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Unfortunately
they couldn't understand the meaning of the Stanley Cup in terms of Canadian culture,
and were uninterested.

The next day after everyone had left I went back to the Hockey Hall of Fame. I must say
that it was one of the most "emotional" buildings I've been in. If you're a hockey fan, this is
a must see while visiting Toronto.

And I couldn't resist snapping more pictures of what's called the "Great Bell Hall". This is where
all the official NHL awards are kept during the year, including the Stanley Cup. This room was
round with a large domed roof which contained an elaborate stained glass celing. It
reminded me of some of the churches in Europe.

And one last picture from the Hockey Hall of Fame (I promised Oily I'd bring him back some images).
This is the original Stanley Cup that was used back in the late 1800s. Note the
vault-like presentation.

Jeff and his evil chin rub - puts the Fleet Admiral's to shame.
New dossier picture? Waddya think Jeff?

After waiting for everyone to arrive, and enjoying about 24 hours together as a group, we wait
for everyone to leave. Katrina tries her best to hide from my camera. Todd gives the cameara
one of his biggest smiles ever.

Dinner as a group. I must say I thouroughly enjoyed my visit and the opportunity to
meet up with some very neat people. C'mon Katrina, smile! I think it's feasible
that Katrina's water was not that filling. How 'bout a "Perfect KJ" for dessert, Kat? :)
And also a very special thank you to the waitress who took this pic. I found out just how lovely
she really was the night after *eg*

What more appropriate to finish off this slide show but our friend the cart. Now, I still have to
make a poem up about it - any ideas? This was actually the last thing I looked at
as I took my luggage for a walk - permanently. Brought a wee tear to my eye...;)

Thanks for the great time peeps! And see you again soon I hope!!
