| 6 | medium apples, pared and sliced |
| 3/4 cup | flour |
| 1 tsp | cinnamon |
| 1/2 cup | softened butter |
| 3/4 cup | brown sugar |
| 3/4 cup | oatmeal flakes |
| 1 tsp | nutmeg |
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease baking dish and arrange apple slices
in it.
2. Sift together dry ingredients, and stir in the oats. Pour in melted/softened
butter, and stir until mixture resembles bread crumbs.
3. Sprinkle dry mixture evenly over apples.
4. Bake for 30 minutes, or until apples are cooked and topping is golden
brown. Do not bake until apples become applesauce.
