| 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp | butter |
| 1/4 cup | cocoa powder |
| 2/3 cup | brown sugar |
| 1/2 tsp | vanilla |
| 2 | eggs |
| pinch | cinnamon |
| 1/4 tsp | salt |
| 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp | flour |
| 1/4 cup | chocolate chips |
1. Preheat oven to 350. Butter an 8x8 square pan.
2. Melt the butter. Add cocoa powder, brown sugar, and vanilla, stirring after each.
3. Stir in eggs. Be sure the mixture is not too hot from melting the butter, warm is ok.
4. [optional] For extra moisture, add 1-2 Tbsp yogurt or sour cream at this stage.
5. Sift in salt, cinnamon, and flour. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Bake for 20 minutes. Cut into 16 squares while hot.
