Kaaskoek
Preparation: 60 minutes
For 8 pieces:

150 mLmilk
1/3 cup butter
pinchpepper
pinchsalt
1/2 cupflour
2eggs
1 cupgrated matured cheese (old, salty ‘n spicy)
1 clovegarlic


Boil the milk with butter, pepper and a little salt. Add the flower. Stir firmly until it forms a ball. Take the pan off the fire and stir the eggs in one at a time. Stir after each egg for at least 2 minutes. Then scoop in the cheese and the toe of garlic. Add a 1 cm thick layer to the buttered baking-plate. Bake for about 45 minutes in the middle of the pre-heated oven (175C/350F). Take the Kaaskoek off the plate and cut it in 8 pieces. Served warm.
