This whole different way of handling situations is really REALLY starting to bother me. *sigh* That’s not to mention that people think that the [d]SC/QC/VC ranks are people who’re big meanies because we’re the big bad EC. Christ. Come off it. We are rather busy people - have you seen the amount of e-mail we get on a daily basis?! - so that’s why it takes us so long to deal with things. We get whacked with a volume of stuff, then just as we mow through that little bit, we get whacked with more. Our to-do lists are FOREVER growing without people constantly bugging, yes, bugging for more access rights or whining because their friend got promoted and they didn’t. We’ve got a lot of responsibility, a lot of demands, a lot of people to deal with - there are only 8 of us to service ALL of you - so if we’re tardy, or perhaps a little bit tart, lump it. It’s only a hobby after all - so it’s not the end of the world if an event doesn’t come off or it takes a few months to integrate a cool new feature or we say no to some proposal or you don’t get a new pip image on the top of your login form…or you discover you’re missing one. Got it? Great.
