I’ve own my little motor (below) for just over 3 years now, today was the first time I’ve put petrol in it!
My dad and i have an unwritten agreement – I’m paying off the car and also the insurance (which he’s named on) and he puts petrol in it. Excellent deal for him since he drives it more than I do. Unfortunately he didn’t top it up and he is, of course, away on holiday, so I figured why be petty and drive it on fumes and just bit the bullet 
. Scarily I’m quite proud of myself
