Come on now

www.dictionary.com
you can learn how to correctly spell all kinds of words, wouldn’t that be fun now!

BTW just a little FYI…brie and ham toasties don’t work so well – at least in the George Foreman grill. The brie gets too runny
I was not happy with the overall taste either (although that would be a personal thing). I’m also getting a bit sick of bread.

Ho Hum

Gotta love the nerve of my brother (or not). I boot up this evening and find a little note left telling me that the printer is nearly out of black ink (we only got the printer in November, but anyway.), okay fine…the only time I use it is to print stuff out for my mum and my dad. I think I’ve used it twice for myself. Which makes my brother the biggest user. The note now says – “WHich I don’t use ask mum or dad for money” because my brother (bless his little bank account with more money than mine) is out of work. For out of work try being picky since he has a degree and could take some lame ass job like everyone else in the meantime

Much amusement on the bus on Sunday…our bus company (there is only one public company in Northern Ireland) has changed its time tables and what not and now the fare on a Sunday is £1 return (well you can go anywhere on that network) or £1.50 for a single ticket (before it was 90p for a single ticket). However being a woman of literacy I read the little sticky card that was stuck in my spanking new timetable that indicated the £1 and when I got on the bus enquired with the bus driver who assured me that yes it was return. Other people who were clearly not literate (or more than likely too damn lazy to look or ask) paid the £1.50 fare and some old woman started having a go at the driver for not telling her that it was a return ticket seriously – they have pictures of the fares deals (anywhere on the network £3 monsat before 10 and after 2 and £2 anywhere between 10 & 2) ON THE BUS WINDOWS for crying out loud! Ohh if you ‘re interested www.translink.co.uk. Go admire our new PINK (yes PINK) Metro buses. And just out of interest….why are all the benches at bus stops just slightly too high to be comfortable to sit on? You have to perch or in my case lean against and I’m an average 5”5!

ME! ME! ME! ME!

I have come to the conclusion that smokers are the most selfish people in the world – “I know this gives me, cancer, I know this gives you cancer, I know this can give my kids cancer and will probably leave them with one less parent, I know this makes me stink, I know this makes you stink, I know that this turns my surrounds yellow and makes them stink, but do you know I just don’t care enough to give it up!”

People who smoke at bus stops and walking down the street are the worst…yes i know you were stupid enough to get hooked on something that was deliberately made addictive but is there any particular reason why you’re forcing everyone else to breathe it in?

Child proof

Why do some parents make their young children wear jewellry? It’s not like it looks in any way attractive, the kids don’t really have a clue and it’s not really safe. I was sitting on the bus today opposite a toddler of no more than 3 who had a peirced ear and was wearing a gold chain. How in the name of god can you justify peircing a childs ear? It bloody hurts for a start and gee ever heard “small parts – not suitable for young children”. The chain is also ridiculous – firstly yeah sure give a small child something expensive that he can choke on either by eating or catching himself on. Hell I don’t even like kids and apparently I have more friggin sense that some of those that choose to pop them out.

FFS!

No it’s all right I don’t need a proper lunch break, it’s not like I only take half an hour, I can keep answering the stupid phone calls.
I should really go out for lunch or we should have enough staff that I can sit at my desk in peace.
Im still pissed off that they stopped us accessing webmail.

Site update

Feel free to hop over to www.kittykat.org.uk/wallpapers/wap.html where I have added a wallpaper and pictures site.

I scanned a couple of my cat cards/post cards and some space cards I had, they’ve come up a little grainy.
So I added some wallpapers I held on my desktop, threw in some digital photos my mum took (cause I thought they were pretty) and added some funnies.

Everybody’s gone to war - Nerina Pallot

I’ve got a friend he’s a pure-bred killing machine
He say’s he’s waited his whole damn life for this.
I knew him well when he was seventeen.
Now he’s a man he’ll be dead by Christmas

And so, everybody’s going to war
But we don’t know what we’re fighting for
Don’t tell me it’s a worth cause
No cause could be so worthy.

If love is a drug, I guess we’re all sober
If hope is a song, then I guess it’s all over
How to have faith, when faith is crime
I don’t want to die
If god’s on our side, then god is a joker
Asleep on the job, his children fall over
Running out through the door and straight to sky
I don’t want to die

For every man who wants to rule the world
There’ll be a man who just wants to be free
What do we learn but what should not be learned?
Too late to find a cure for this disease

And so, everybody’s going to war
But we don’t know what we’re fighting for
Don’t tell me it’s a worth cause
No cause could be so worthy.

If love is a drug, I guess we’re all sober
If hope is a song, then I guess it’s all over
How to have faith, when faith is crime
I don’t want to die
If god’s on our side, then god is a joker
Asleep on the job, his children fall over
Running out through the door and straight to sky
I don’t want to die
I- I- I- I don’t want to die
I- I don’t want to die

I’ve got a friend he’s a pure-bred killing machine
He say’s he’s waited his whole damn life for this.
I knew him well when he was seventeen.
Now he’s a man he’ll be dead by Christmas

None so blind as those who will not see

Yeah okay so the “babble bashing, we got immortality cause we screech alley you yah, (yay I just made a pannini and damn tasty it is too!) and you’re so going to the dark place for not following our creed, which I always don’t say but always think ” person has no problem demeaning and degrading the unbutch and despatching malefactors to the eternal dark, which would be in direct contradiction of their beloved idol still genuinely believes themselves to be “better” than those who find that rather vile – simply for not following their dogma. Sorry but if joining that club means thinking so little of the rest of the race then I’d rather stay as I am

Never mind the fashion police

where the hell are the music taste police? Robbie Williams Angels won the best song of the 25 years in the brits awards, the other other nominees were as follows:

Brits 25 best song award:
Joy Division – Love Will Tear Us Apart, Kate Bush – Wuthering Heights, Queen – We Are Champions, Robbie Williams – Angels, Will Young – Leave Right Now.

Seriously…there have been no better songs in the past 25 years? WTF?! The Joy Divison song was far superior but it’s like it’s been rigged for Robbie to win…gee I wonder if he has an album coming out soon? Personally I like the song, but lyrically and musically it’s not that great – come on you can admit it. It wasn’t quite as bad as busted winning song of the year for Thunderbirds are Go (did that even make number 1?), of course song of the year is a load of crap. They should ban tweens from buying music :O

In other news….Charles marries Camila, good for him – anyone with a problem – get the hell over it already FFS. It makes him happy and it hurts absolutely no one. It affects you in NO WAY at all.

Which leads me on to my final grumble of today…..tabloids, red tops, paparazzi – I blame them. The hysteria, the hyperbole the down right bull shit that people swallow like the bloody morons that people en masse (and sometimes individually) are. The actual real and somewhat less interesting truth gets stamped on in the effort to see who can scream the loudest.

Skiving…

I thought how fun it would be to do a blog entry from work, I’m not sure that it’s against the many rules they have in regards to internet activity but it seemed naughty all the same. Until I realised I couldn’t remember my username and password D’oh! as they say

I’m still fiddling about with the background with this damn thing, I doubt I’ll ever be happy but hey ho.

In other areas Im going to have a couple of crappy wallpapers and pictures on my web site scanned from a couple of the many postcards/cards I have. I’ll probably do some little page at the week end! :)

Couch Potato Stress/*sniff sniff*

I’ve just realised that most of my “shows” that I download will be ending soon for their hiatus.
I always feel at kind of a loss when i have nothing to download and spend all day Saturday watching :( .

In other news…Im either coming down with a cold or my sinuses are playing up. Not sure which I would prefer as both block my nose up and cause me pain…..saying that if it’s a pretty bad cold I get feverish which means I can’t really sleep..Hmmm iwas pretty hot last night and I didn’t sleep to well…buggery! Oh well at least there’s stuff I can take for a cold, the sinus stuff usually just causes me pain.

Never lend m*n*y to family or friends

How true that is. Also applies to subbing for presents as well.

Screw that, the wee bugger (my jobless brother) can either get a job and start paying me back or there will be no more friggin joint presents. It wouldn’t even be so bad if he didn’t keep going for nights on the town and out to the cinema. I can’t go because I HAVE NO MONEY! It’s hard for me too :| .

Web Unskilled

All things are relative…that should be what the theory of relativity is really about….actually what is the theory of relativity all about?

I’ll freely admit I’m pretty ignorant of web page building and the technical aspects of the workings of the internet and computers however at work…I’m the buff (at least in my little section), I am the person they ask when they want to email an attachment. Irony is a beautiful thing!

Anyhoo I just finished mucking about with my website and moving it to MY domain (www.kittykat.org.uk) . Do not visit www.kittykat.com unless you’re looking for some pay to view porn and kittykat.co.uk is just some peircing site (although you know…if that’s your thing and all that there).

New & Improved

Just to up date you on the previous post, this would be the “better” version.

I never claimed to have taste now did I?!
